| I'm almost there. I'll be done with finals in less than two days
and will be leaving Singapore in three. This is insane.
Oh yeah, and if all goes right, I'll be in Champaign in five days.
Sweet.
I wish I had more to say, or something else to keep my time as I
procrastinate studying, but noone is online and I have nothing to do.
So, off to studying I go.

| - I won't be there -
It's Wednesday April 20th. I have my second final exam tomorrow
morning--in 13.25 hours to be exact. I haven't studied for it for
more than half an hour so far. I'm not really worried about it,
though, I have other things on my mind.
It's a really weird feeling when you realize in exactly 7 days you will
be all packed and returning home after being gone for over four
months. I'm going to be happy to be home, I'm sure, but it
finally hit me that this could be the last time I am ever in Singapore
in my life. I spent so much time here, made a bunch of great
friends, and it's going to end. This next week is going to be
hell, not because I really want to be home but rather because everyone
is traveling starting today and tomorrow. (Almost everyone I know is
already done with final exams, fyi, because final exams here are a 3.5
week process. My friends are done after 1.5 weeks, I'm done after
2.5). On Friday, out of all my 'best' friends here, only one will
be left. I guess its a good thing I'll be preoccupied with final
exams, but today is the day I say my goodbyes--7 days before I leave.
It's a sad feeling, but thats how life works.
I hope loneliness and final exam stress don't drive me insane.

| Not many people have to convince themselves to go out on a Friday
night--especially if they have no homework and no exams for another 6
days.
I am one of those few people.
Luckily I am letting my party-guy out since this is most likely the
last time I will go out in Singapore, and we are going to celebrate
Teresa's birthday.
In any case, assuming we don't get back too late, I want to go biking
on some island off the coast of Singapore in the morning. I hope
that happens, otherwise I'll be disappointed.
Oh well, we'll see what happens, but for the time being I should go get some dinner and get shnazzy, did I just say shnazzy?
sorry, i meant pimped out.
Later kids.

| DAMNIT!!! I ALREADY REWROTE THIS ENTRY!!!
THIS IS NOW THE THIRD TIME IM WRITING IT. The stupid picture program keeps overwriting my entry.
Well at least it gets shorter each time.
I'll just say I almost forgot my birthday was coming until it actually
came. Teresa asked me what I wanted to do for it, and
since for some reason I didn't seem to care that it was even
coming, I didn't really answer her--hoping that if I didn't say
anything she would leave it alone.
It was actually nice that she kept bugging me until we came up with somethin.
Eventually we decided to go to Happy Hour downtown and then Hooters. The day was a lot of fun.
Asian Hooters, in Singapore no less was pretty wicked, too.
The birthday as a whole was awesome.
And of course I gotta add some hot asian Hooters waitresses for good measure.

Me and my waitress

Me, and my birthday brownie with some of the hooters girls

All of us at our table at one of the outside tables of Hooters
Oh yeah, I had one of my four final exams today. It went good
enough to make me pass, and that's all I care about--since all my
classes are pass/fail.
So on that note, I'm out.

Edit: The pictures weren't originally working, but they should be functional now. Thanks for letting me know, Kevin.
